Terms & Conditions

Unrestricted Copyright to all images created during the portrait experience is deemed to belong solely to Angela Sutton Photography. I agree that all original capture and copyright of all printed and digital Portrait imaging remain the property of Angela Sutton Photography and they must not be copied or replicated in any format, unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing. Angela Sutton Photography has the right to use reproductions for the purpose of creating samples of work, entry into photographic competitions, exhibitions, advertising, editorial or art displays, general displays, or any other commercial application for Angela Sutton Photography.

DIGITAL PORTRAITS:

The below applies to all Digital Portrait Collections purchased and received from Angela Sutton Photography
a. You have permission to use the high-resolution digital portraits provided to you for personal use only, including but not limited to printing, copying, emailing and online publishing.
b. The digital portraits cannot be used for commercial or editorial purposes without written consent from Angela Sutton Photography. You may not use the digital portraits in any way that results in financial gain, including but not limited to advertising, stock photography or resale of any nature.
c. You may not edit or alter the digital portraits in any way or claim them as your own.
d. Angela Sutton Photography is not liable for colouring errors, print quality or cropping of any portrait not printed directly by Angela Sutton Photography.
e. Copyright ownership of all Digital Portraits remains with Angela Sutton Photography.

COMPETITION ENTRIES:

Competition entries are only open to persons 18 years and over, who are residents of Canterbury, New Zealand. Late entries will not be accepted. Entry forms not properly completed will be rejected. Copies will not be accepted. Prize winners will be notified by email or phone. The decision of the studio will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into. Competition winners must claim their prize within 3 days of winners being announced (winners will be emailed and then phoned). Competition winners must book their winning shoot within three (3) months of the gift certificates being claimed.

PROMOTIONAL GIFT CERTIFICATES & SPECIAL DISCOUNT OFFERS:

Must be redeemed within 3 months of receiving the gift certificate. Promotional gift certificates and discount offers cannot be used for commercial photography or extended family photo shoots. You are unable to double up gift certificates/discount offers (only one per family or session). Prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM COMPETITIONS:

By entering our Facebook and/or Instagram competition, the entrant acknowledges that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with, Facebook or Instagram in any way.

APPOINTMENT BOOKING DEPOSIT and SESSION FEE:

A booking deposit of $50 or a session fee will be required to secure and hold your portrait session appointments. This deposit or fee ensures your commitment to the scheduled appointments. If you have a gift certificate/discount offer, the deposit is refundable, provided that you have completed your portrait session. Failure to attend or complete your scheduled appointments or failure to cancel within 10 days of your appointments, will result in the forfeiture of your booking deposit or session fee and any promotional gift certificate or special discount offers.

NON-TRANSFERABLE:

Promotional vouchers, special discount offers and gift certificates are NON Transferable and cannot be transferred or gifted between clients. They are not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. The vouchers and gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, prize or promotion. Only one (1) Gift certificate can be used at a time. You cannot use the gift certificate to purchase products from any other photo sessions.

ARTISTIC CONTROL

Angela Sutton Photography reserves artistic control over the design and content of each photos session. We may, at our discretion, decline to create certain types or styles of photography. We reserve the right to refuse to produce images at some sizes or combinations of sizes if we believe such images would or could be detrimental to our reputation as a professional studio or as professional photographers.

Clients should discuss their requirements with the studio prior to the portrait session.

APPOINTMENT RESCHEDULE POLICY:

48 hours’ notice must be given prior to your portrait session if you wish to reschedule due to sickness. Gift certificates and promotional vouchers entitle the holder to a SINGLE PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE ONLY. Once made, an appointment cannot be rescheduled and the gift certificate is deemed to have been used in full at that original appointment time and date.

*NOTE: In exceptional circumstances, management may, at their sole discretion, reschedule an appointment and carry forward the gift certificate and holding fee / deposit

NON ATTENDANCE POLICY:

Non attendance at any appointment without notice, will result in the forfeiture of the booking deposit and the withdrawal of any special offers. Any gift certificates/special offers are then deemed to have been used in full if you fail to attend or complete your scheduled appointments.

LARGE FAMILY POLICY:

Due to the nature of the small studio, families larger than 5 members will need to be photographed either at an outdoor location or a hire studio at the customers’ cost. Different prices apply so please contact the studio for a current quote. Extended family bookings are taken at the discretion of the photographer and require a consultation to make a booking. Promotional gift certificates or special discount offers are not available for extended family shoots.

REFUNDS:

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind once your order has been placed. We offer a quality guarantee on all artistry and workmanship.
